We're currently seeking to fill two Supplier Engagement Manager positions.

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
As a Supplier Engagement Manager you will take responsibility for implementing and managing the full supplier lifecycle for third party resources on behalf of an AgileOne global customer programs. As a member of an ambitious global organization which is on its way of achieving category leadership, you will be independent collaborator, a highly active and resilient member of the Global Supplier Partnership & Engagement team driving the business forward.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Relationship management interfacing with supply base, requiring balancing of interests to maintain mutually beneficial business outcomes.
  • Guiding and supporting the customers and suppliers in MSP projects and initiatives, demand/consumption management strategies, and on-going support to deliver to forecasted and ad-hoc business needs and key performance goals
  • Contract terms, development of negotiation strategies and supplier negotiation
  • Risk assessments and mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and continuous cost and performance improvement activities
  • Supply base optimization by providing suppliers with the requirements for success and the consequences of not meeting those requirements, measuring supplier performance against criteria, executing performance improvement plans, and adjusting the supply base based on performance and fluctuation in needs
  • Plan and manage regularly scheduled supplier forums
  • Source qualified suppliers and negotiate optimal contractual agreements, often complex and of high-value
  • Build appropriate supplier relationships and drive rationalization strategies to maximize category leverage
  • Drive continuous quality improvement, cost management, supplier base rationalization and enhanced supplier relationships
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working with process management, continuous improvement and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish positive and strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Must possess to identify solutions to complex situations and be flexible in responding to unexpected changes in customer needs.
  • Superior communication, team building, leadership, training, facilitation, organization and negotiation skills.
  • Strong, sound business ethics are a must.
  • Must possess ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment that is demanding of one’s time.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent (B.S./B.A.) plus 5-8 years + combined experience in staffing and/or VMS/supplier management arena; or, equivalent years of combined education and professional experience

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS (written & verbal):
This position requires fluent English (and German). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to present information effectively and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. 

COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge of computers including Windows environments, email, and the internet. Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio. Ability to quickly learn AgileOne proprietary technology.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Minimal (less than 10%)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Office or home office based role with associated lifting of minimal equipment, sitting / standing, repetitive actions.
