OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
The AgileOne Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for managing and executing AgileOne Implementations using AgileOne’s Implementation Methodology based on industry best practices and knowledge. The SPM will work with the Solutions Architect to lead the discovery, design and deployment of the AgileOne solutions (technology and supplier management programs). Responsible for assessing and tracking multiple projects including: project plans, budgets, resources and issue escalation, as well as reporting findings to the Account Management and Technology teams. The SPM is responsible for tracking the quality of project management performed for all projects under their responsibility. This individual is responsible for reviewing project deliverables as well as tracking appropriate project metrics. The SPM is expected to provide leadership and innovations to AgileOne project and implementation management processes as well as regular input regarding “field” observations to contribute to the future direction of system applications and performance. Will consult with and receive direction from the Client Software Development Team throughout implementation lifecycle to identify technology design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish, monitor and communicate all schedule-related information as needed to successfully meet key stakeholders project objectives during AgileOne Client Implementation(s).
  • Act in a consultative role to AgileOne Clients and Account Management Teams during the systems implementation phase or on additional projects as assigned and partner with project management leadership to drive the future direction of applications.
  • Establish routine, ongoing communication processes as needed to ensure all project stakeholders have current, relevant information.
  • Facilitate fact-finding sessions, conference calls and other communications as needed to lead projects to successful outcomes meeting client business needs and objectives.
  • Consult with Solutions Architect and Client Software Development team for appropriate technology and process recommendations, including all decisions related to system implementation, configuration, and design and ensure a successful blend between technical solutions and business requirements.
  • Provide leadership and assistance on assigned implementation projects. Manage integration of solutions.
  • Work with the management on implementing new policies and procedures and responsible for assessing and implementing new techniques and technologies to keep Agile competitive in the ever-changing industry.
  • Work with project schedules, contracts, 3rd party vendors, and other divisions of AgileOne and ACT•1 and effectively work with Account Manager to meet client tactical needs, as well as long-term strategic objectives.
  • Provide account executive and customer point of contact for accountability in problem resolution.
  • Document implementation procedures that can be utilized post implementation.
  • Develop key project implementation models. Provide guidance and/or training on these models to other project implementation team members as needed.
  • Provide presentations and trainings to marketplaces on technology offerings and how those fit within customers business needs and support pre-sales activities including: development of client demos and prototypes; creation of project estimates; and presentation of detailed proposals.

JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
This individual will have at least 7 to 10 years’ experience in project management, leading teams, process management/continuous improvement.

  • Staffing industry experience preferred.
  • Experience leading systems integration projects and managing project team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with both internal and external customers, including suppliers.
  • Must possess the ability to identify solutions to complex situations and be flexible in responding to changes in customer's needs.
  • Demonstrated superior communication, interpersonal team building and negotiation skills.
  • Must possess sound business ethics and operate with integrity.
  • Must possess ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as required

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Any degree (or equivalent), plus combined professional experience.

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS (written & verbal):
This position requires fluent English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to present information effectively and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. German and / or Swedish would be an advantage.

COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge of computers including Windows environments, email, and the internet. Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio. Ability to quickly learn AgileOne proprietary technology.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
PMP desirable but not required

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Minimal - Moderate (less than 25%)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Office or home office based role with associated lifting of minimal equipment, sitting / standing, repetitive actions.
