OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
Implementation Data Analysts support VMS/MSP implementations by assisting with data gathering, validation, data uploads, and user acceptance testing activities. The role provides implementation support, including data audits, system administration support, and billing support before and after program go-live. Implementation Data Analysts are assigned to new implementations and project migrations at project kick-off and may participate in discovery activities to support data alignment requirements. They work closely with project team members to ensure accurate data setup, testing, and successful implementation delivery through project close-out.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in internal and external meetings to gather program requirements, client expectations, and data requirements.
  • Responsible for data collection and supporting data alignment to approved configuration requirements.
  • Prepare files to contain data for upload into various vendor management solution programs, which involves data scrubbing using various formulas and comparing different data sets to validate for accuracy.
  • Ensuring that data is managed in compliance with GDPR at all times.
  • Data collection specifics include system setup requirements involving large volumes of data including the following:
    • Foundational data including job titles, descriptions, rates, user information, billing data, relationship tables, shift setup, pay tables, supplier setup information, billing codes, markups, pay codes.
    • Worker census data for various types of workers including but not limited to contingent workers, non-employees, independent contractors, statement of work contracts.
  • Support go-live activities including system admin and billing support. This may include:
    • Manual system and or data buildouts
    • Preparing and coordinating additional data loads
    • Performing audits on system data to ensure correct data alignment.
    • Continuously strive for seamless and error-free implementations.
  • Administer User Acceptance testing both internally and client-facing. This involves:
    • Identifying testing elements to align with configuration
    • System readiness setup for testers
    • Test script validation and preparation
    • Live testing demonstration for both internal and client-facing testing
    • Monitor testers during test period, troubleshoot tester issues, re-test fails or questions
    • Testing all elements of configuration and system scenarios, including negative testing, workflow testing, assist with integration testing, single sign on, etc.
    • Preparing audit documentation for tech team, reviewing, and troubleshooting system anomalies, identify and manage system corrections, identifying opportunities for training with client and internal team.
    • Staging system data for client testing as well as producing test invoices.
  • Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned

JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a project team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to learn new systems, technologies, and business processes quickly.
  • Understanding of project-based work and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple deliverables.
  • Experience working with data analysis, data validation, data entry, reporting, or system administration activities preferred.
  • Experience supporting software implementations, system configurations, testing activities, or business operations projects preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and organization.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established deadlines.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with large datasets and maintaining data accuracy preferred.
  • Experience within MSP, staffing, workforce solutions, HR technology, VMS, or SaaS environments preferred but not required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) (or equivalent) or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS (written & verbal):

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to understand technical documentation and translate the information into data requirements.
  • Must be fluent in English. Written and verbal fluency with additional languages desired.
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus, professionalism, team orientation and technical proficiency.
  • Must have well-developed problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong customer-service skills, ability to convey confidence and professionalism when interacting with clients.
  • Strong writing and documentation skills necessary.
  • Works well under pressure and within strict deadlines.

COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Working knowledge of AccelerationVMS and/or similar VMS platforms preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of third-party VMS technologies (SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, VectorVMS, IQNavigator, or similar workforce management platforms)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, perform data validation, and prepare files for system uploads.
  • Experience with testing activities, user acceptance testing, or test scripts preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:
Ability to travel to other locations or countries, with notice, to facilitate client meetings or projects - 10%

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Office or home office-based role with associated lifting of minimal equipment, sitting / standing, repetitive actions.
