OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Operations and payroll area, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of tax forms, direct deposits, and diverse forms that make the US employees compliant. Contribute to the professionalism of AgileOne by consistently providing a high level of customer service to the client, suppliers, and contingent workers. A Compliance Analyst is responsible for monitoring and interpreting relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines, ensuring that our client remains compliant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implementation:

  • Audit the payroll process prior to transmission, ensuring all necessary special bill and rate information is accurate before billing the client.
  • Perform data entry into the system as needed.
  • Ensure that employees in the United States complete the IRS tax form (I-9) to indicate their tax situation, including exemptions and status.
  • Take overall responsibility for ensuring the accurate processing and submission of the I-9 form.
  • Verify the identity and employment authorization of each new employee hired to work in the United States, ensuring compliance with legal requirements set by the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Monitor and audit all background checks, ensuring timely submittal and clearance before the start of an assignment.
  • Maintain compliance databases, spreadsheets, and files.
  • Verify the results of toxicology screenings to ensure that candidates meet the company's standards for drug-free workplace policies.
  • Perform detailed background checks to verify the accuracy and reliability of the information provided by candidates.
  • Upload onboarding documents and relevant information, such as medical excuses provided by employees, to the OA Net or any other ATS system.
  • Verify and process payroll and payslips for employees within our clients' organizations, ensuring the accuracy of bonuses, sick days, and timecards.
  • Provide support to the recruitment process when the branch needs assistance with job orders, including interviewing and filtering candidates for possible positions as needed.
  • Welcome new hires to the company and inform them of their roles and responsibilities, based on account needs.

Account Maintenance:

  • Act as liaison between Clients, Employees, and Vendors on requirement issues while maintaining the integrity of our Service Level Requirements.
  • Act as point of contact for administrative issues between Clients, Employees, Vendors, and AgileOne.
  • Coordinate and ensure the timely delivery of reports to clients, Corp, and branches.
  • Ensure accuracy of reporting through AgileOne/Client technology.
  • Collaborate with corporate billing to ensure the timely delivery of accurate billing by completing all tasks involved in the payroll process by the approved deadlines.
  • Act as the point of contact between AgileOne Corporate and vendors for any contractual, accounting, or payment inquiries.
  • Follow all processes and procedures defined by each account.
  • Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities.
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High School Diploma required, with some college work; Preferred Associates (A.A.) two-year or bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; three (3) years of industry related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

  • At least two or three (2- 3) years of proven experience in customer service as well as human resources-related activities such as recruiting/ staffing, customer relationship management, business development, and supplier and contractor management.
  • Ability to apply basic math concepts, ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations, where only limited standardization exists.

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS (English written & verbal):

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to present information effectively and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook, and the Internet
