OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:
The Director of Global Solution Design is accountable for the design, governance, and continuous evolution of AgileOne’s global workforce solutions across MSP, Services Procurement (PaaS), RPO, Direct Sourcing, VMS, Payroll, and adjacent services.
This role sits at the intersection of client strategy, commercial architecture, operating model design, and delivery feasibility, acting as both a hands-on solution leader.
The role will actively shape client outcomes in complex, sales pursuits, while also building and leading a small global solution design team. Success is measured not only by solution quality, but by win-rate influence, deal integrity, margin protection, scalability, and speed to mobilisation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Global Solution Design & Architecture
    • Own the end-to-end solution design framework across all AgileOne services, ensuring consistency, scalability, and commercial discipline.
    • Design integrated workforce solutions spanning MSP, Services Procurement, RPO, Direct Sourcing, VMS, Payroll, and supplier ecosystems.
    • Develop and maintain global solution blueprints, reference operating models, and design standards that can be adapted to regional and country-specific requirements.
    • Ensure all solutions are designed with clear scope boundaries, assumptions, dependencies, governance models, SLAs, KPIs, and transition approaches.
    • Act as a senior design authority on complex or non-standard solutions, escalating sign-off initially to the Managing Director, with a clear path toward delegated authority over time.
  • Pre-Sales, Commercial & Client Leadership
    • Lead solution design for strategic, complex, and multi-country sales pursuits, including RFPs, RFIs, and client co-creation workshops.
    • Translate client requirements into commercially viable, operationally deliverable solutions, protecting margin and delivery integrity.
    • Play an active role in late-stage client engagement, presenting solution strategies to C-suite and senior procurement, HR, and finance stakeholders.
    • Carry explicit accountability for:
      • Win-rate influence
      • Deal quality and clarity
      • Margin protection through sound design
    • Partner closely with Sales, Client Services, Global Compliance, Legal and AI teams and ensure pricing logic, commercials, and contractual positions are aligned with the proposed solution design.
  • Global Design Authority
    • Operate a design authority, setting global standards while enabling regional flexibility.
    • Work closely with regional leaders across Europe, North America, APAC, LATAM, and MENA to ensure solutions reflect local labour markets, regulatory frameworks, and supplier realities.
    • Maintain deep awareness of AgileOne’s core markets, including but not limited to:
      • UK, Ireland, Nordics, DACH, France, Netherlands, Italy, Poland
      • United States and Canada
      • Middle East (KSA, UAE)
      • APAC and LATAM growth markets
    • Ensure regional solution designs align with global principles while remaining locally compliant and competitive.
  • Governance, Risk, Compliance & Enablement
    • Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure all solutions are compliant with:
      • Local labour and employment laws
      • Worker classification and co-employment frameworks
      • Data privacy and information security requirements
    • Engage with Technology and AI teams to ensure solutions appropriately leverage automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities, without over-engineering or misalignment to client maturity.
    • Identify design-stage risks early and ensure mitigation strategies are embedded before contract signature.
    • Develop and maintain solution playbooks, proposal assets, and internal enablement materials to support consistent global execution.
    • Market & Competitor Awareness
    • Maintain strong awareness of competitor go-to-market models, solution positioning, and commercial structures across MSP, Services Procurement, and RPO.
    • Use market insight to inform solution differentiation, design decisions, and client messaging.
    •  Act as a thought partner to Sales and Leadership on evolving market expectations and “value under pressure” dynamics.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES/# OF STAFF:

  • Lead and develop a small global solution design team, initially comprising:
    • One Solution Design resource in Europe
    • One Solution Design resource in North America
