OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

Assist and strengthen implementations of new AgileOne clients in all aspects of billing, discounts, rates and taxes. Provide information to the suppliers relating to fees, discounts, calculation of taxes, CW setup, remittance information, etc on or around the go live date. Provide ongoing support to the vendors for any billing and payment questions via a Billing Support Group (BSG) mailbox. Work towards minimizing errors and adjustments by auditing data and adjustment requests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Daily creation / maintenance of excel spreadsheets to compare and reconcile data using pivot tables and various formulas
  • Creating and maintaining VBA macros to automate processes
  • Performing data analysis; calculating figures and amounts such as mark-ups, bill rates, discounts, interests, and percentages
  • Cooperating with Clients, Vendors, and Internal Teams in financial data processing and reconciliation via email or calls
  • Resolving financial discrepancies with vendors and clients
  • Participating in calls with Solution Architects, Client Services Teams, Vendors, and Clients
  • Reviewing and understanding the client set up documentation (Configuration Summary, Implementation documentation)
  • Other ad-hoc reporting, project tasks connected with data processing

JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • At least 2 years of experience in one of the fields:  Data / Reporting / Finance (AR, AP, GL)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Exceptional analytical and reporting skills - ability to spot trends in data
  • Good command of English, with an ability to communicate ideas in a clear and concise way
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Initiative, proactiveness

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) (or equivalent) or a suitable combination of education, experience and training.

 

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS (written & verbal):  This position requires fluent English.  Prefer candidates who have multi-language skills in German or Dutch.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.  Ability to present information effectively and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

COMPUTER/SYSTEM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Working knowledge of computers including Windows environments, email, and the internet.  Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Visio. Excel Advanced. Ability to create and service VBA macros  Ability to quickly learn proprietary technology.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Minimal (25%)
